Botanical description

Holy basil is also known as tulsi. It is an erect shrub with a height of 30-60 cm. Tulsi is a flowering plant with aromatic leaves arranged in a simple and opposite form. The leaves are green or purple in colour. The flowers are green to purple in colour, small, and present in terminal spikes.
